ich habe Brown in Tansania kennen gelernt. Er war dort ein Student des FDC (Folk Development College), eins von 15 Colleges, das nach schwedischem Vorbild in Tansania aufgebaut wurde. Diese Colleges für Schüler von 15 bis 21 Jahren sind wie Berufsfachschulen, d. h. es werden akademische Fächer unterrichtet und sie bilden in einem Beruf in den Bereichen Elektronik, Bauwesen, kochen, Schreinern und auch Gartenwesen aus.
Brown, der Gartenwesen studiert hat, fiel mir auf, weil er sehr ernsthaft und engagiert studiert hat. Er hatte auch Theresa als Lehrkraft, die mich sehr beeindruckt hat.
Als Brown mich fragte, ob ich ihn sponsern würde, damit der eine Ausbildung als Lehrkraft für Garten- und Obstanbau machen kann, habe ich ihm zugesagt, dass ich die Mittel dafür finden werde. Für ihn sammel ich Geld.

My name is Brown Msengi Saidi (M) aged 26 years old. I am the only child in family of three persons, that including my grandfather, named Msengi Saidi Majembe and my mother, named Joyce Msengi Saidi. Recently I am the resident of Mwanga district at Kilimanjaro and thus I am doing Teaching –Volunteering activities at “Team Wood Polytechnic College” located at Mwanga district-Kilimanjaro.
The purpose of this letter is request for sponsorship for funding my project of Vegetable Production in Nurseries; because due to lack of capital and hardship life in my family.
My goals are to invest myself in vegetable and fruit production according to my experience, I am confident of self-employed I will benefit from the following; I will be able to increase the amount of income again within the first six months, I will be able to eliminate the issue of reliance on government employment, I will be able to provide them with income that will allow me to pursue higher education without the support of donors, I will improve living in my family e.t.c
So it my hope that, if I will get your support to fund My Project; real I will have the ability to use the same profession for the benefit of many others, especially to make an opportunities and assist others in groups of young people (homeless), orphans and other in-needy and living in vulnerable situation, through initiated projects as well coordinated groups as will be set well with me.

Ich heiße Brown Msengi Saidi (M) und bin 26 Jahre alt. Ich bin das einzige Kind einer dreiköpfigen Familie, die aus meinem Großvater, Msengi Saidi Majembe, und meiner Mutter, Joyce Msengi Saidi, besteht. Seit Kurzem wohne ich im Mwangabezirk am Kilimanjaro und arbeite auf freiwilliger Basis als Lehrer im ‘Team Wood Polytechnic College’ im Mwangabezirk, Kilimanjaro.
Ich schreibe diesen Brief mit der Bitte um Unterstützung zur Finanzierung meines Projekts zum Gemüseanbau in Gärtnereien, da ich selbst nicht die nötigen Mittel dazu habe und meine Familie in prekären Umständen lebt.
Mein Ziel ist es, meine Erfahrungen im Gemüse- und Obstanbau zu nutzen. Ich bin mir sicher, dass ich als selbstständig Arbeitender folgende Vorteile bringt:
- ich werde innerhalb der ersten sechs Monate mein Einkommen erhöhen
- ich bin nicht auf eine Anstellung durch den Staat angewiesen
- durch mein Einkommen wird es mir möglich sein, mich ohne Unterstützung von anderen weiter zu bilden

Vegetable production established for the purpose making profit through identifying and satisfying the demand of customers. There is the great demand for vegetables supply at Singida due to the rapidly growing population as well as the newly established market thus; Vegetable production is aimed to meet this demand of my customers and generating profit to myself.

The startup capital for BROWN VEGETABLE PRODUCTION NURSERIES is projected to Tshs 1, 500,000/=
Therefore I need your help in order to have these requirements in my project, which I expect to start this project on May, 2018 effectively.

Ursprünglich wollte Brown Lehrer werden, aber er hat wohl realisiert, wie schwer es ist, eine Stelle zu bekommen. Ein Government-job ist sehr gefragt, da ist man unkündbar, versichert, pensionsbetechtigt und überarbeiten muss man sich auch nicht. Er hat jetzt den Weg beschritten, sich selbstständig zu machen und in Bereichen zu arbeiten, die ihm wichtig sind und die er liebt: Gemüse- und Obstanbau und das Wissen moderner und ökologischer Anbaumethoden an Bauern in seiner Umgebung weiter zu geben. Ich habe Vertrauen in ihn, dass er das schafft.
Hier ist sein Dankesbrieg für das Geld, das ich ihm im Mai geschickt habe. Den Laptop, der auch zu sehen ist, hat ihm Maximilian letztes Jahr spendiert.

Zweimal war ich in Kathmandu in Nepal und habe bei Apeiron ehrenamtlich gearbeitet. Apeiron ist eine italienische Organisation, die seit 2004 in Nepal tätig ist und ihre Aufgabe darin sieht, Frauen zu unterstützten, die in prekären, Situationen und oft Gewalt ausgeliefert sind. Die Frauen sind in der CasaNepal untergebracht und lernen Skills, die es ihnen ermöglichen, ein selbständiges, unabhängiges Leben zu führen.
Apeiron ist auch in einem Gebiet tätig, in denen Steinbrecher arbeiten, Menschen, die ihren Arbeitgebern total ausgeliefert sind und in erbärmlichen Verhältnissen leben.
